City Wide Clean up & Limb Pickup

The City –wide clean-up is Saturday June 10th, 2017 and  is only for Residents inside City of Ozark paying for Trash Services through the City of Ozark water.  This program is being offered with the intent of providing Ozark residents the opportunity to clean out their garage, basement or closets, and get rid of old worn out items and junk.

Curbside Pick-Up

* Citizens must have their acceptable items at the curb no later than 7:00 a.m. the morning of Saturday, June 10th,  for pick-up and are encouraged to put items out the night before as we will be running multiple trucks.

* Any non-acceptable items that are included will be left at the curb for disposal by the resident. 

* Crews cannot access personal property to assist in moving items to the curb. 

* Clean-up will not take place at businesses, apartment buildings or at vacant homes

· Hand and Power Tools
· Beds/Mattresses
· Clothing
· Toys
· Carpeting/Padding  (Must be cut in 4’ or smaller sections)
· Microwaves
· Televisions/Monitors
· Grills - NO Propane Tanks
· Wood (Must be cut in 4’ or smaller sections and no bigger than 4” in diameter)
· Mowers/Weed Eaters (Must be drained of all fuel and oil)
** Appliances for $15.00 Charge and must meet below guidelines

**$15.00 Charge for Appliances and must contact Republic Services at 417-865-1717 by June 8, 2017 to request and make payment on appliances prior to pick up:  Appliances include Washer, Dryer, Stove, Hot water Heater, Dishwasher   - **Air Conditioners/Refrigerators/Freezers with Freon removed and properly tagged by a certified specialist will be accepted.  If not properly tagged, the item will not be picked up.  Doors must be removed from any  appliance that presents a hazard to children.

· Rocks, bricks, concrete
· Bulk Liquids
· Propane Tanks
· Fluorescent/CFL/HID Bulbs
· Batteries
· Appliances with Freon - not properly tagged
· Hazardous Waste (including paint,
       oil, aerosol cans, fertilizers, etc.)
· No Vehicle Parts    
       (Motors, Doors, Hoods, etc.)


The City of Ozark will be offering free limb collection as part of the annual City Wide Cleanup. Scheduled pickup dates are April 19, 2017 through April 21, 2017, weather permitting. You must be registered on the collection list by 5:00 p.m. April 14, 2017.

? Have limbs at the curbside by 7a.m. on pick up days.
? Have limbs stacked against the curb with all butt ends facing the street.
? Do not block the sidewalk.
? Do not extend into the street.
? To prevent damage to your property, keep items 5 feet away from your trash cart, mailbox, fences or walls, water meter, telephone connection box and parked cars. Do not place any items under low hanging tree limbs or power lines.
? The City of Ozark only collects large brush from its residential trash and recycling customers and from homes in the city limits of Ozark.
? Items will not be collected if they are in an alley, or if they are in front of a business or a vacant lot.
? Maximum size: 4” in diameter and no more than 4’ in length NO STUMPS!
? Maximum volume: small piles shall not exceed 75 lbs.
? The City’s Spring Curbside Cleanup has been scheduled for Saturday, June 10, 2017. Additional information will be posted on the City’s website at http://www.ozarkmissouri.com.
