Animal Control specializes in the capturing of loose canines and attends to concerns of animal
cruelty. Requests for the capturing of animals other than dogs should be directed to the
Missouri department of conservation at (417) 895-6881 ext. #237. For concerns of animal
cruelty or loose dogs, please call City Hall at (417) 581-2407 between the hours of 8 a.m. &
5 p.m., Mon-Fri. Outside of business hours, please direct calls to the Ozark Police Department
at (417) 581-6600.
Dogs captured by Animal Control will be held for a period of time until reclaimed by the owner. If
the dog is unclaimed, it will be transported to a local Humane Society.
