Community Demonstration Garden
Information about the Garden Project


The City of Ozark has created a Community Demo Garden at The OC to feature weekly classes about: Planting, Soil Test, Seeding, Nurturing, Herbs, Dealing with Issues (insects, wildlife), Organic vs Non – Organic, Fertilization, Compost, Worm casting, Harvesting, and Winterizing.

There will also be classes about cooking, canning, and other types of gardening as well.

This is a FREE service to the community.

The garden classes are complete for 2013.  Please fill out a registration form to get on our mailing list to be informed about 2014 classes, and the remaining cooking classes for 2013.

*If the weather or garden conditions are frightful, classes will be moved to the pavilion on the east end of the OC.  Signs will be posted, and the website will be updated if this is the case.
