Jackson Street Widening

Jackson St. between 2nd St. to 3rd. St. will be widened to five lanes and a new intersection will be added at Hwy NN. Additionally, two pedestrian underpasses will be constructed in order to provide safer crossings across Jackson Street.

MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: 22nd Street south of Missouri Route 14 CLOSED in Ozark March 16-18 For Pavement Repair 

What: 22nd Street CLOSED south of Missouri Route 14 (Jackson Road) in Ozark 

When: 7 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, until 5 p.m. Thursday, March 18 

Details: Contractor crews removing existing pavement, widening the road, and repaving the approach as part of the Jackson Street (Route 14) Widening Project Traffic


  • 22nd Street CLOSED south of Route 14 only where crews are set up working
  •  Drivers will be able to get to driveways and entrances on either side of the work zone, but will not be able to travel through the work zone 
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned. 
  • Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
