This Addendum forms a part of the Bidding and Contract Documents and modifies the original Bidding
FAILURE TO ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT OF ADDENDUM MAY SUBJECT BIDDER TO DISQUALIFICATION.
1. After completing demolition this week, unknown items were discovered requiring plan
revisions. Modified plans will be re-issued via addendum the week of May 23, 2022.
2. The Pre-Bid Meeting date has changed.
A prebid meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 11:00AM on site at 203 Brick Street,
Ozark, MO 65721.
3. The Bid Opening date has changed.
Sealed bids for the Planning & Development/Police Department Tenant Finish (hereinafter “Project”)
will be received by the City of Ozark, 205 N. 1st Street, Ozark, MO 65721, until 11:00AM CST, on
Wednesday June 15, 2022. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11:00AM CST, on
Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Ozark City Hall, 205 N. 1st Street, Ozark, MO 65721.
END ADDENDUM NO. 1
Sealed bids for the Planning & Development/Police Department Tenant Finish (hereinafter “Project”) will be received by the City of Ozark, 205 N. 1st Street, Ozark, MO 65721, until 11:00AM CST, on Thursday, May 19, 2022. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11:00AM CST, on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Ozark City Hall, 205 N. 1st Street, Ozark, MO 65721.
The Scope of Work includes removal and disposal of flooring and other miscellaneous demolition, installation of new HVAC, electrical, plumbing, ceiling, partitions, casework, flooring and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom.
Bid packages will be available after 1:00PM on Friday, April 29, 2022, and may be obtained from the office of Cochran located at 2804 N. Biagio Street, Ozark, MO 65721, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $75.00 per set or $25.00 for electronic copy. For directions and to check plan availability, please call 417-595-4108.
A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
A prebid meeting will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 11:00AM on site at 203 Brick Street, Ozark, MO 65721.
The City of Ozark anticipates issuing notice to proceed in May 2022.
The wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in this specification. When Federal wage rates are applicable and included, this contract is subject to the “Work Hours Act of 1962,” (P.L. 87-581: 76 Stat. 357) and implementing regulations.
Effective January 1, 2009, and pursuant to RSMo 285.530 (1), No business entity or employer shall knowingly employ, hire for employment, or continue to employ an unauthorized alien to perform work within the state of Missouri. The successful bidder must submit a sworn affidavit and documentation affirming the business entity's enrollment and participation in the federal work authorization program and that all of its employees working for the contracted services are not illegal immigrants.
Upon signing the contract, the successful contractor and any subcontractor performing the work shall provide a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for their on-site employees.
The City of Ozark hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
THE OWNER INTENDS TO AWARD THE CONTRACT TO THE MOST RESPONSIVE, RESPONSIBLE BIDDER SUBMITTING THE LOWEST BID. THE OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS.
