Dear Ozark residents,
Fall has arrived in Ozark—cooler mornings, Friday night lights, and fun festivals! I even made it out to watch Ozark’s homecoming game, crutches and all, as my foot continues to heal. It’s a great season to slow down, enjoy a walk through our historic square, and support our local businesses and school activities.
Speaking of slowing down, I want to remind everyone about an important transportation project: MoDOT will close the eastbound side of the Route CC bridge over Highway 65 in Ozark for most of October to complete construction work. The work will start Sunday night, October 5. Please plan extra time for your commute and use caution in work zones.
Thanks to everyone who rolled up their sleeves for the Community Challenge Blood Drive. It was a close competition! While Nixa took the trophy this year, the big winners are our local hospitals and the patients they serve.
Wishing all of you a safe and fun fall season in Ozark— and what better way to celebrate than by kicking off Good Neighbor Week! It’s a great time to check in on a neighbor, lend a helping hand, or simply share a kind word that strengthens our community.
