Normally, at this time of the year, I would be saying I am hoping that you are enjoying the cool, crisp fall weather, but since we have been averaging 15 degrees above our norm, I cannot say that in 2024. Nevertheless, I am so looking forward to a new holiday tradition in Ozark, followed along with traditional holiday events this November. If you have not done so yet, mark your calendar for the following dates.
- The Christmas lights at the Finley River Park will be on display starting Saturday, November 16.
- Lighting of the Mayor’s Christmas Tree at the Ozark Community Center on Sunday, November 17th, from 6 -8 pm.
- Opening of “Jingle” on Friday, November 22 at the Ozark Mountain Sports Complex. Jingle will bring millions of holiday lights to over ten acres. The experience will also have an ice-skating rink and will run until December 31, 2024.
- 59th Annual Ozark Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 23, starting at 5:30 pm.
- Friday Night Lights on the Ozark Historic Square on Friday, December 13, from 5 - 8 pm.
