The OC Fitness Center Rules
- Fitness Center users must check in at the Front Desk and present a valid membership or pay the daily fee before using the facility.
- Fitness pass privileges may be suspended or revoked for disciplinary reasons or rule infractions.
- The Fitness Center is open to patrons ages 16 and older with a valid membership. Nobody under the age of 16 is allowed in the Fitness Center at any time (this includes children of patrons), unless they are 13-15 years old and have obtained the Youth Weightlifting Certification through The OC.
- Appropriate attire must be worn at all times. Shirts must cover the entire chest area and be free of offensive wording or graphics. Shoes must be worn at all times. Shorts must provide coverage from waist to thigh.
- Food, beverage, and smoking/vaping are not allowed. Water or sports drinks in an approved container are the only exceptions to this rule.
- Cell phone use is prohibited while working on a machine for which another patron is waiting. Please be courteous of others’ time.
- The OC provides cleaning stations consisting of cleaning spray and paper towels for patrons to use to clean equipment after completing a workout.
- Radios are not allowed with the exception of those with personal headsets.
- Abuse of equipment, other patrons, and staff will not be tolerated; offenders may lose use of privileges with no refund.
- Profanity will not be tolerated.
- Do not drop weights or let the weight racks slam.
- There is a 30 minute limit on aerobic equipment during peak hours.
- Be courteous to others - rotate (take turns) on equipment during peak hours.
- All of our training staff have national training certifications. Safety for our members and guests is our priority, therefore no one other than trained OC staff are permitted to train, coach, or prescribe exercise to members or non-members with or without payment.
- The Ozark Community Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Fitness Center Information
The fitness center includes treadmills, bikes, stair masters, cross-training machines, row machines, and free weights. You can also enjoy a cardio-entertainment system while you work out. The fitness center also includes an aerobics and indoor cycling studio.
Classes
Classes are free for members and are included in your day pass. Some classes cost extra, but they will indicate such.
New Member Orientation - FREE
We invite all new members to take our orientation class. You will learn how to safely use the equipment and get familiar with the Fitness Center. Sign up at the Front Desk, and a trainer will contact you to schedule an appointment.
Private Orientation
For members who would like to know more about the equipment or refresh their understanding, this session is $20 for one person or $25 for two people. Please sign up and pay at the Front Desk, and a trainer will contact you to set an appointment.
Youth Weightlifting Certification
To use the OC Fitness Center, youth ages 13-15 must obtain a Youth Weightlifting Certification. This certification follows guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics and teaches youth the skills needed to use equipment safely. The fee for this certification is $20. Please sign up at the Front Desk, and a trainer will contact you to schedule an appointment.

Monday - Friday: 5 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Saturday: 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
