    I'm a mom of 3 and have been active in the gym for over a decade. I was an athlete through high school and college but fell in love with weightlifting in my early twenties. My passion is to help women become more comfortable and confident in the weight room. I hope to help break the stigma that weights are only for men and that lifting will make women “bulky”.

    My name is Asher Ramsey, and I am excited to help you on your fitness journey no matter what stage you are at.  I have enjoyed pursuing fitness goals since 2005.  I swam and ran track in high school; then, I began pursuing weightlifting more aggressively in college while getting my bachelor's degree at Missouri State. I have greatly enjoyed pursuing my fitness goals and have learned much along the way. I coached high school and middle school track for two years during and shortly after college.  I was a professional firefighter for nine years and worked hard to ensure I could perform my job proficiently and make sure my crew and I went home at the end of the day.  My objective is to assist you in reaching your fitness goals and collaborate with you to create your fitness routines. I hope to impart the knowledge I have learned along the way in my own fitness journey and make your journey both productive and enjoyable.  I look forward to working with you and helping you along in your fitness pursuits.

     I've always had a passion for being active. I'm a mother of 6 children and grandmother of 9.  I'm excited to be a part of the OC.  I was privileged to be raised by parents who were fanatics about fitness.  In fact, my father was a personal trainer up until he passed away at the age of 64 due to a lost battle with \cancer.  Although he is gone, his spirit still drives me to be active and share my love and desire for fitness with as many people as possible to reach their fitness goals. In the past, I have had the privilege to participate in many triathlons and even a half marathon.  As a certified personal trainer and group instructor, I enjoy teaching Aqua Fit, Spin, HITT, Pilates, Senior Fit, and Silver Sneakers. I'm here to provide guidance for you to reach your fitness goals.
