Our DREAM Downtown

What Is the DREAM Initiative?

The DREAM Initiative-The Downtown Revitalization and Economic Assistance for Missouri-is a project dedicated to revitalizing the downtown areas of small communities in Missouri. The City of Ozark was selected by Governor, Jay Nixon as one of 5 DREAM communities in 2010. The city has partnered with PGAV planners, the Missouri Department of Economic Development, and the Ozark Chamber of Commerce to build the foundation and form the overall vision for Ozark’s downtown DREAM area.

Want to Help Revitalize Downtown Ozark?  HERE IS THE PLAN!!!

How Do I Get Involved?

The DREAM steering committee is currently looking for DREAM volunteers to help with special events and Downtown Projects. Contact Jeremy Parsons by email, or call 417-581-2407 to find out how to volunteer.

If volunteering is not your thing, you can still be an active participant in shaping the direction of the DREAM Initiative in Ozark by attending DREAM community meetings. DREAM community meetings are announced on the City’s Facebook page, on the events calendar, and on the Ozark Chamber of Commerce website All Ozark area citizens are welcome and encouraged to attend!

If you have any questions, comments, ideas, or if you would like to be a DREAM volunteer, please contact Jeremy Parsons  at jparsons@ozarkmissouri.org , or call City Hall at 417-581-2407.
