To join our swim team, you must first complete a swimmer evaluation with Coach Tahyani. Swimmers will be asked to swim several different sets and then your coach will determine which group will be appropriate to start. Schedule your evaluation today!

Meet the Coaches
Tahyani is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse range of talents and achievements.
Originally from Venezuela, she pursued her higher education at Drury University, where she earned a degree in Criminology and went on to obtain a master's in education with a focus on foreign language and literature.
Tahyani is an excellent swimmer, having qualified and competed in national and international swim meets. Her favorite stroke is the backstroke, and she particularly enjoys competing in the 100-back event.
As a proud mother of two amazing children, Andrew and Kelsey, who are both swimmers themselves, Tahyani has also dedicated herself to coaching, serving as a full-time Spanish teacher at Springfield Catholic HS and a swim coach for the past seven years.
Tahyani's many talents and passions make her an impressive and inspiring individual and a true asset to her community.
Meet Alex, our outstanding swim coach originally from Venezuela and a graduate of Drury University with a degree in International Business and Communication. As a former swimmer at Drury, Alex earned an impressive 8 All-American titles, including 2 NCAA championships and 27 All-American honors!
Alex has competed at the highest level of swimming, participating in the 1998 World Championships in Sweden, the 1999 World Championships in Sydney, and the Olympic trials for the 1996 Atlanta games. He's also represented his country in numerous international events, demonstrating his incredible talent and passion for the sport.
As a coach for the past 4 years, Alex specializes in the Butterfly and Back stroke. Beyond his impressive achievements, he's also a devoted father of two, bringing a nurturing energy to his coaching style.
