Ozark, Mo. -- The City of Ozark is pleased to announce the hiring of Maria Neider as its new Communications Director and Benjamin Ward as its new Communications Manager.
"I am very excited about the great communication team that the City of Ozark has with the new employment of Maria Neider and Benjamin Ward," said Mayor Don Currence. "The expertise and life experience they will bring to this department, along with the ongoing talents of Jacqueline Yoos, has now made the City of Ozark Communication Department a leader in our area and a wonderful benefit to Ozark."
Neider, a seasoned journalist with a wealth of experience, joins the city after a nearly 20-year career at KY3, where she served as a respected anchor and reporter.
As Communications Director, Neider will oversee all aspects of communications for the City of Ozark, including media relations, public affairs, and internal communications.

Ward brings more than a decade of expertise in the communications field to the city. Prior to joining the Ozark team, he worked for Adult & Teen Challenge USA, overseeing all internal and external communications.
"My family and I have been a part of the Ozark community for years. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to serve in this role and help keep the people of Ozark informed and engaged," said Ward.
