Ramirez, originally from Mexico, currently serves in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. Upon coming to the United States, Ramirez and her family settled in Missouri where she then obtained her U.S. citizenship.  Her passion for being a police officer comes from her desire to care for and serve others.  Ramirez and her family live in Springfield.
